MacBook Pro Retina Review

Intro
The MacBook Pro Retina is as powerful as it is beautiful. The display is stunning, the performance is outstanding, and the experience is a pleasure. This was my first experience with a Mac and I just wish I had hopped on the Apple train a long time ago.

The Build
I purchased the base model which I spec'd up to the 2.6GHz processor, with 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. The price of this spec came to $2,599 (AUD). Although I was hesitant on spending this much initially, in retrospect I am all too glad I went ahead with my purchase.
As I mentioned before, this is my first experience with a Mac, but the build quality was definitely the first stand out for me as compared to other notebooks. The body is so thin, yet so solid, yet so light. I initially was looking at purchasing the MacBook Air because of its thin and light form factor, but I needed the power of the MB Pro. I was happy they brought out this new model as it met both my needs and my wants.

Dell XPS 14 Ultrabook Review - Notebook Packed With Plenty of Components and Connectivity Features

The Dell XPS 14 Ultrabook has a classy industrial design. It's definitely worth investing in - especially if you're looking for a notebook with a long battery life. It performs decently for its size. Its long battery life tops those of many other notebooks in its class.

The notebook is less than 1 inch thick. It's slim, yet packed with plenty of hard ware. The pewter-colored lid contrasts with the black coating on the palm rest and black silicon base. The silicon base helps to absorb some of the heat generated during usage. Special gorilla glass covers the display, contributing to the computer's classy appearance. The gorilla glass also contributes to the weight of the model, but just by a small amount.

Laptops Review-Compaq Presario CQ58-A10NR 15.6-Inch Laptop

Compaq Review - Compaq Presario CQ58-a10NR
The Compaq Presario CQ58-a10NR is very different from many laptops because it uses the AMD E series APU. This is a sort of a bridge between the C series processors used in the netbook style systems and the A series used in traditional laptops. It uses the same power as most of the A series but has lower clock speeds meaning less performance. Thus, by using an E-1200 dual core processor combined with 2GB of DDR3 memory and Compaq Presario Keyboard, the system can handle the basics of email, web browsing and word processing but it certainly isn't a smooth experience as laptops in the same price range using the AMD

A series processor or the Intel Pentium. It definitely has problems for those that are doing multitasking and is not suited at all to something like desktop video editing.

Toshiba Satellite Laptop Review

As we all know that Toshiba Satellite offers an affordable mobile multimedia laptop with wireless communication built-in, a good processor and good battery life so that the maximum mobility is guaranteed through all the day.

For a machine that is going to sit on the shelf at the Best Buy, the Toshiba series look like they would be more at home under the arm of some suited, late '80s merchants.

The Satellite series ships with either a 14-inch or 15.6-inch diagonal display. Powered by your choice between Intel and AMD processors, both options include TruBrite HD widescreen displays with 250GB/320GB hard drives, 720p resolution, DVD SuperMulti drives, Wi-Fi and multi-touch touch pads.
